ChiBrations • MusicReloaded

UPDATE: Returning to close out ChiBrations August feature, MusicReloaded revisits a single from her The Revelation EP. Released back in 2016, "See Me" is one of MusicReloaded's original tunes performed alongside Ron Toussaint on the keys. If you haven't been paying attention to her before, hopefully you can see what MusicReloaded is capable of clearly now.

ChiBrations continues its steady run of introducing us and our readers to new singer/songwriters by highlighting Chicago artist MusicReloaded for the month of August. Her name alone has the unfamiliar curious. What does it mean to be reloaded? Raised in the church and classically trained in her craft, MusicReloaded approaches her music technically, but also from a spiritual place.

With only a small amount of music released to the world, it's clear MusicReloaded doesn't have a problem spending time on her art. There's no rush to keep up with the fast paced world of music releases that some artists adhere to, music that touches the soul takes a little more time to fully bake. Describing her music as something you need to experience live to really feel the energy she's attempting to pass on to her listeners, MusicReloaded's exclusive ChiBrations performance is a perfect introduction.

Joined by her band Ron Toussaint (Keys), Marshawn Dixon (Drums) and Michael Flowers (Bass), MusicReloaded kicks off her performance at Soap Box Studios with a mashup of Musiq Soulchild's  "Just Friends" and Drake's "Controlla".
