Solemn Oath Brewery and Emporium PopUps have announced a 24-day takeover of beer, collaborations, music called The Void. The takeover will run from October 11th to November 3rd with partnerships from These Days, Aux Cord DJs (who'll split programming duties on Saturday nights), Cards Against Humanity, Inhuman Conditions, Plant Shop Chicago, Holy Mountain Brewing, Cigar City Brewing and more. Pop up hours will run Tuesday thru Sunday from 5:00PM - 2:00AM (closed on Mondays). To celebrate “the spectacle” - Solemn Oath will have a rotation of their staple beers alongside a dual collaboration of beers with Emporium. The two featured collaborations are titled “Afterlife Kids” and “Shake Senora.” The two respective beers are described as;

Afterlife Kids is a double dry-hopped India Pale Ale with enough Denali, Citra, and Simcoe to satisfy the dead, deadski, gone, split, out of here, afterlife kids, deceased-ahh. All the aroma, 7% ABV,  and available in portable handhelds.

“Shake Senora is a 5.5% Hazy Pale Ale double dry hopped with the truly unique tropical fruit and apple-pear nose-breaking Calypso hops. Extremely sessionable and a fierce original. The urge to do the Calypso dance is overwhelming you. It throws your body in the air and rocks you in time with the tropics. Left to right is the tempo, it won't leave you in a haze.”

Solemn Oath Brewery have been making award winning and critically acclaimed craft beer out of their brewery headquarters and taproom in Naperville, Illinois since 2012. Find out more about their beer and their story at SolemnOathBrewery.com.

As a proud partner with Solemn Oath Brewery and Emporium Popups, we at These Days look forward to announcing our music collaborations, DJ sets, performances and more very soon.
