Until just recently, Saba has been relatively quite in 2015. He debuted a new song "Symmetry" live in April during his headlining performance at Bottom Lounge (which was very lit). It wasn't until "Temporary", his collaboration with Tink during the summer that we would hear from Saba again, and just recently he dropped his instrumental project the SpareChange! EP. Can't forget about the handful of feature verses Saba had over the year include "Slumber" with Mick, "Angels" with Chance, and the new "Open Apology" with Noname Gypsy.

Okay, so maybe Saba hasn't been so quiet after all, but we're all still itching for that ComfortZone follow up. I can't say the release of today's "Timezone/Whip" video is a sign that Saba is going to start dropping new music tomorrow, but it is the final chapter in the ComfortZone story. Linking with Jay Caves and Jacob Linden aka Yakub for the video, Saba and the team pulled out all the stops, spending months to perfect this visual partially inspired by Lupe's "Food & Liquor" cover art. Complete with floating objects, Nissan GT-R's, and the the always necessary "squad in the cut" scene, this video might just be in the running for best video from a Chicago artist this year. Bravo to all parties involved, and again, we're anxious for what's next. We want to see Saba pop in 2016!
