Joey Purp • "Morgan Freeman"

See this content in the original post

Up until recently, the story of Save Money's Joey Purp was heavily associated with Leather Corduroy's and his band mate KAMI. Following the successful release of Leather Corduroy's Season, Purp is nearing the the release date of his solo debut. It's crazy to actually say those words. I feel like Purp has been a factor in the Save Money army for a while, and he has been, but he's yet to drop an official project as a solo artist.

Today Purp delivers what appears to be the first single from his highly anticipated project Drops titled "Morgan Freeman". No narrating needed from the nearly 70 year old actor on this cut, Joey Purp handles all the vocal duties on this choppy head nodder produced by Ikaz. There's been no release date announced for Drops just yet, but there has been some rumblings that we might be able to expect it late this year or very early next year. Honestly, the sooner the better Joey, we're ready!
