Herb is just out here dropping bars like he's been gone for a while, but in actuality, he just released Ballin' Like I'm Kobe a little over a month ago. Following up the very well received mixtape and now that G Herbo had inked a deal with Cinematic Music Group, the east side native has been busier than ever. Herb linked with Red Bull Sound Select for a pair of singles featuring his new label mate Joey Badass and old friend Lil Bibby, went on to drop two bonus tracks he decided to add onto the end of BLIK, and now he gets nostalgic with "Retro Flow".

Presumably a freestyle Herb had in the chamber and just now decided to share it, but one could only speculate. This definitely sounds like pre-BLIK Herb, or could he just be getting back to business as usual. Either way, if life is a chess game, G Herbo is positioning himself for checkmate. 2016 will likely be a telling year for G Herbo and his career.
