Fresh off a performance this weekend at Riot Fest and a spot on Hiero Day in Oakland d of that, Psalm One returns with a new one, "Maybe Never" with fellow Chicagoans My Gold Mask who also accompanied her and The Rapper Chicks onstage in Douglas Park this past weekend. While they may be known as The Rapper Chicks, Chicago's leading ladies have been looking outwards for inspiration, recently linking up with the likes of local pop duo Celine Neon and reportedly also getting into the studio with The O'My's which is according to Twitter rumors at this point. Here, Psalm continues to impress, doubling down on a Riot Fest set that had critics and fans alike talking throughout the weekend. Psalm doesn't seem to have any inclination of slowing down anytime soon and one of Chicago's most consistent acts continues to raise eyebrows with this one which is yet another win for the vet.
