“It's 5:00 somewhere and I'm in Hawaii.”

Rappers Carl and Supa Bwe (of Hurt Everybody) bought plane tickets alongside rappers Chando and Jommis (of Beach Jesus) to take flight and visit “Hawaii”, the new single from producer Noah Sims. Sims crafted the initial beat and later enlisted both JAROFMY and SEER (of Beach Jesus) to add their own flavor to the high energy instrumental. With seven names assisting with one progressively evolving track, “Hawaii” might go down as a Chicago posse cut for the history books.

For this particular single, Hurt Everybody provided assistance while in between projects. Having released 2K47 (and 24EP) this summer, the trio is now prepping both Supa's solo project, The Dead Occasion, for October 4, and the group's next EP, which may or may not be called I Know Where the Light Goes 2. Beach Jesus, meanwhile, are in a similar situation, having released their debut album, Two Weeks Vacation, back in June, and are now preparing to release a follow-up EP later this fall. Not to be outdone, Noah Sims just released the single "Bugatti" with Roosevelt the Titan, and was also found producing Hurt Everybody's “Snake Charmer” earlier this year. For the artists involved with this track (it's also mixed and mastered by Chris Classick), this is not their first rodeo. Or should I say, this is not their first luau.

“Hawaii” will be found on Testament, the upcoming full-length by producer Noah Sims, which is dropping later this year. The first single was "GodBody" with Roosevelt The Titan which we heard earlier this year. If "GodBody" and this Hawaiian beast of a song are any indication of what Testament will sound like, the Chicago hip-hop scene is in for a treat from teenage producer Noah Sims.
