Saint Millie is a name you're certainly familiar with if you keep up with the scene here in Chicago in any degree and today the hardworking MC returns with a new single that TheseDays has the pleasure of offering up to the world first. "Fly Away" is a sort of prep for Millie's upcoming full-length, Adderall and comes produced by OakStreet Beats with a verse from the one and only Get Gwop, making this a rare treat indeed. 

The track packs a soulful punch throughout that we've come to expect from Millie and sets a consistent tone as he rounds the corner to the album. I was over at Jugrnaut the other day talking with the Treated Crew rapper and he was telling me there is plenty of content to keep fans and listeners busy all year and this appears to be the first instance we'll see of that work in 2016. What is the message behind this single?

Millie • Fly away is the perfect song to relax an imagine you somewhere nice smoking the biggest joint you could ever roll and forgetting about all negative things you got going on. Positive vibes only! 

How does it prepare listeners for 2016?

Millie • I haven't put out much music since glory maybe a couple releases , but this is  the start of me releasing all these new vibes I've created . Fly away shows the growth in song selection an it doesn't sound like anything that's out right now. 

Has anything changed stylistically?

Millie • Everything really from the fashion to the music I've grown an committed to having more fun with the music and really focusing on the energy I want to convey

What's coming up in the next few months?

Millie • A bunch of surprises got some project with some really great producers coming but before all that I'm releasing my best project to date "Adderall"
