The Holy Kit • This 1 Fo' My N***** EP

The Holy Kit has been paving his own lane within Chicago since surfacing a couple of years back. Working directly with surreal and innovative producer Jeremiah Meece (of The-Drum), the self-proclaimed Lownt God released his project New Wavey back in 2013. Following it up last year, he collaborated with space age production duo Supreme Cuts for the dark and dreary full-length, Lownt God Rising.

2015 saw numerous drops from The Holy Kit, but no full-lengths. Instead, he released a series of singles and a duo of EPs. We first heard The Holy Trinity EP earlier this year and most recently, he decided to close out 2015 with This 1 Fo' My N*****, a three song EP entirely produced by Mexiko Dro. Both EPs that The Holy Kit released in 2015 come in at three songs in length and both hone in on a new, more trap-friendly style.

The nine minute release is quick and to the point. Presented by DJ Osh Kosh, the EP is drill-inspired and out of hand; the high-energy release will have you bouncing on your friend's couch, throwing glasses of overpriced liquor into the fireplace before robbing a nearby corner store.

If you need more music from The Holy Kit, be sure to check out his newest music video for "If I Die", his Elevator video for "Insomniac Freestyle", and his freestyle "Spider-man" over stellar Bobby Swan production.
