Cassius Tae • "To The Block"

Written by Ricky Byrdsong, Jr // Directed by Ja-Wan The Director

If you’re not from Chicago, but listen to the music put out by its artists, the first thing that might come to mind is something related to murder, gangs, drugs etc. But on the flip side, Chicago hip-hop fans are given plenty other than drill and violent music, including from the city's very own Cassius Tae, with his latest drop titled “To The Block”. Cassius has continuously shown and proved why he is one of Chicago's few artists out there spitting messages pertaining to non-violence and simply having  fun, the way things should be. In his new video shot by Ja-Wan The Director and RENVNTDPICTURES , Cassius gives us a small glimpse through well though out lyrics of what life is like on his block. Throughout the video Cassius non-chalantly shows footage of him and his boys clowning around and hanging out on a nice sunny day. If you’re looking for a more thought provoking musical artist, Cassius Tae is for sure one to be checking out, as he’s been on Chicago's hip hop platform for some years building and securing a solid wave. Enjoy!
