About a year ago or so, in the infancy of TheseDays, we came across an act from nearby that caught our ear and has held it ever since in young up and comer Pat App who returned this week with a powerful single with an important message. "Anarchy" is the first we've heard from dude since his "Aim High" video last month and is spurred by recent developments in the United States election.

As riots and protests break out across the country in response to the rural white decision to appoint a bigot to the White House, many have voiced concerns for the future. Nowhere does that message take on a larger meaning than when it comes from the youth and here App, one of the sharpest young artists we've met in recent memory, does so wonderfully on this single. In a press release, App had this to say of the single: "Many Americans, especially the younger generation, are finding themselves distraught at the character of those being elected to office and the potential decisions that will be made by government to impact our daily lives. Music, especially hip hop, has a way of bringing a voice and platform to those that may not otherwise feel heard. People need to feel empowered in times like these. Music empowers."
