There's been no rest for Smino and Zero Fatigue since they broke out onto the Chicago scene in early 2015. Since, Smino, producer Monte Booker and vocalist Rayvn Lenae have each made their own mark on local and national fans alike. Not one has outshined the other, but rather each have contributed to one another's success in a way we just don't see happen that often anymore. That said, it's only been a couple months since Smino released Sick Sick Sick and his full length debut Blk Juptr, but he and Monte Booker have no shortage of music to share.

Following a creative trip out west, Smino and Monte collaborate once more on "Update". The song does exactly what the title says, it gives you an update into the life of this St. Louis transplant and his journey towards becoming a household name. Monte provides the busy and funky production as he always does, complementing Smino's vocal acrobatics.

If recent history is any indication, there will be plenty more Smino on the way shortly, and if I were to guess, Monte Booker won't be too far behind. This spring, you can expect to see Smino and friends hitting up SXSW, performing in Europe for the first time and working on a Zero Fatigue album. Plenty to look forward, but in the meantime, get "Update" above.
