Adamn Killa • "Back To Ballin"

Adamn Killa's been one of the more interesting artists out of Chicago in recent memory. The pink haired rapper has an unusual flow, quiet, low-key and slightly mumbled, but packing each song with a natural energy that easily overcome any concerns (take the Tatu remix "My Stance" as an easy example). He works extensively with the extremely impressive Blank Body among other producers, bringing a sound close to clouds but with the weight necessary to keep the vibe moving. "Adamn Superstar" is another choice track, but the whole project is highly recommended.

Chason • "Drake Wouldn't Treat Me Like This"

Chason premiered his track "Drake Wouldn't Treat Me Like" with us last November, and it would appear on his 'Recollections' project shortly after. Now we have the visual, hilariously and impressively directed by Peter Collins Campbell, as Chason contemplates one Canadian rapper's music and the expectations that emerge from it in unfortunate competition. It's an excellent video, watch it now.

Chris Crack • "Last Of The Lean"

Chris Crack is one of our more consistent artists who has a constant stream of new content coming in at an alarming rate. He’s back with his latest project Last of the Lean. Crack doesn’t skimp when it comes to substance as his latest endeavor is heavy with 16 tracks and no filler from feature artists. Hit the link above before all your lean runs out. 

Montana of 300 • "Here Now"

Montana of 300 has been a consistent source of quality for what seems like ages now, a steady source of high energy music that simultaneously values the craft of writing. "Here Now" continues his M.O. for success, a more subdued beat than unusual for Montana but with lyrics that'll make you want to take on the world. It's a preview of what you can expect from his 'Fire In the Church' mixtape, out May 16, 2016.

Zaramela (Ft. Eryn Allen Kane) • "Sober Up"

Zaramela has been gaining a lot of traction recently and is truly shaping up to be the hottest live band of 2016. Blending elements of soul, R&B, and hip-hop to an equilibrium, the unique take on this diverse genre shares similarities with spiritual predecessor, Kids These Days. First recruiting Saba and now Eryn Allen Kane, the tape’s feature list is already backed by talented Chicago locals. Their newest album, 'Realized', drops tomorrow.
