Logan Cage • The New Wave

This ain't California and I'm no surfer, but you know I'm trying to catch Logan Cage's The New Wave. An emcee that has captivated listeners from the jump releases his first project of 2016 and official follow-up to last year's 1636. Logan's new work may only be 6 tracks, but he's got plenty for fans to catch up with in his roughly 20 minutes of new music. Per usual, Flight serves up the production, a perfect ally oop for Logan to put a couple more points on the board.

Opening the project with "Since '94" the EP serves as a resume of Logan's life experiences. Trials, tribulations, relationships and braggadocios rapper shit, The New Wave has it all. Waste no time, and get to listening right away. You'll want to get familiar with all these new raps in advance of Logan's headliner at Lincoln Hall Thursday. If you haven't copped tickets yet, do that. With supporting acts like Warhol.ss, Femdot, and others, this show is sure to be busy!
