Lately it feels like we’ve been seeing TheMIND’s name pop-up everywhere online. His debut project, Summer Camp, hit the web last month and it’s been deservingly lauded as one of the best new releases of the year so far. Most recently, UK magazine Clash got a hold of his his latest visual and promptly premiered it on their site. Interestingly enough, the song is a brand new piece that was not included in Summer Camp.

Featuring frequent collaborators Mick Jenkins, Noname and Jesse Boykins III, “Animated Animation,” is a nostalgic reflection of childhood memories colliding with the harsh reality of the present day. Tristan Zammit also contributes here, albeit through visually impressive animations filled with hypnotizing movement and color that bring the song to life.
