Sev Seveer • Smithereens EP

Chicago producer Sev Seveer has been around making sonic masterpieces for several years, but his unconventional sounds and approach to making music has kept him one of the city's best kept  secrets. Known for his busy, psychedelic and experimental sounds, Sev does not limit himself to any one type of instrumentation and uses digital and analog tools alike to craft his production.

His new EP Smithereens draws inspiration from Sev's interest in Pointillism, a form of Neo-Impressionism painting that the French made popular in the late 19th century. Like the visual art movement, Sev approaches the creation of his artwork in a systematic fashion. Any fan of instrumental music will surely appreciate the complexities Sev offers in Smithereens and for the true audiophiles, you can even pick up a limited edition vinyl containing some bonus records.
