Early this year, with TheseDays still somewhat fresh on the scene and Ovrlord a new name altogether, the pair of outlets that manifest themselves here often came together to bring Milwaukee talent to The Chop Shop in Wicker Park. Included on that lineup was an act we've been excited about for awhile, especially since traveling north late last year to link up. While in town for our show, his first in the city, Trapo later wrote the single that would become "Chicago" from his experiences, a single that got a visual treatment today via the one and only Yakub Films. 

"Chicago" has been one of my favorite songs this summer since it was released back in May on the SHE project which topped Spotify's trending charts for a period of time and asserted the baritone voice of Trapo as one to pay particular attention to. Dude's got talent beyond his years and the video itself follows him as he settles further into the scene just over the border from his native Madison. Plus, TheseDays resident Dad Brent Butcher makes an important surprise appearance. Check it all out up above.
