Taylor Bennett • "Chance Song"

After months of keeping a relatively low profile online, Taylor Bennett made the most out of his recent trip to NYC and set the ball rolling for his upcoming EP, Work With Your Friends. On top of selling out his headlining show at SOB's, Taylor also stopped by a handful of media publications and radio stations for a quick promo run that led to a flourishing buzz around his next project. With that being said, his appearance on the Sway In The Morning show (which you can see above) particularly had the internet buzzing due to an impressive 10 Fingers of Death freestyle and the premiere of a new song entitled "Chance Song."

The latter, which samples "D.R.A.M. Sings Special" off his big brother's Coloring Book album, delivers a heartfelt message dedicated to Chance in which he discloses the impact their relationship has had on him both as an artist and a human. "Chance Song" is proof that Taylor is becoming more comfortable at expressing idiosyncratic topics while still connecting with the listener. This song is definitely a keeper and a strong indication that more material is surely on the way.
