Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Cho • "But I Love You"

Introducing a new artist from Chicago’s burbs, Cho. The Korean born songstress recently graduated high school, and before heading to Boston for college connected with Classick Studios tracking and mixing engineer Darwin for a session. Cho put her own spin on PartyNextDoor's "Come And See Me" for her own take, "But I Love You". PartyNextDoor dropped his album the other night, so no time like the present for Cho to release her rendition of one of the single. Having heard some of her other unreleased music, I definitely think you should keep an eye on her. But don’t trust me, click play and see for yourself.

Famous Dex • "Psycho" & "New K"

Famous Dex, with his brand new song "Psycho", informs us that he is no longer Dex, or Famous Dex, but that he's transitioned into his alter ego. Now he is Dexter, a Psycho.  Dexter links up with Julian_Sk once again to deliver a trippy video, where Dex get all sorts of crazy. Famous Dex and Laka Films are also back at it with some visuals for "New K". This track is filled with that contagious energy that everyone knows him for. Recently being signed to Rich Forever Music, constantly doing video shoots and being in the studio, it's safe to say Dex has some great content up his sleeves for the future.

Jayaire Woods • "Nowadays"

What a summer for Jayaire Woods. The Bellwood native has successfully transitioned up some large steps in his career as a new signee to Quality Control, and with that has been dropping heat to match the weather for the last 3 months. This new track is called “Nowadays”, a humid, lurking song that takes Jayaire’s powerful vocals and puts them over a beat eerier than you’ll often hear from him. Check out “Nowadays”, then make sure to cop his new project FREETHEFALL when it drops, August 31st.
