I remember a couple years ago talking to Brooklyn and him telling me he was planning to dive into music, this was around the time he got into photography and visuals. With everyone rapping at the time I expected him to make that same leap, but to my surprise he said he’d be singing. So since that day I’ve been curious as to if he’d ever release anything, i mean since then he’s been taking off turning into an amazing photographer, capturing stunning images of some of your favorite artists. Covering many of the city's local to larger scale events and even making trips across the country covering tours and various events. He recently through an event of his own to showcase his work to date.

Today while scrolling thru twitter I noticed he premiered his debut single with a solid feature from King Louie. This doesn't come as much of a surprise as we know the two have built a solid relationship over the past couple years collaborating visually.  Reviving Color Me Badd's “Sex U Up”, Brooklyn serves up a single ripe for that ride down the lake before you head home with bae. Brooklyn snaps vocally giving a performance I don’t want to say is surprising, but I will say unexpected. I also love when a feature compliments a tracks opposed to being the only reason you want to listen. Don’t get me wrong King L showed up and showed out as well, making this an overall great debut for young Brooklyn, and excites us to hear more and see what the future holds for him musically.
