Round Up • New Releases From Dreezy, Ibn Inglor, King Louie & More

Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Dreezy (Ft. Gucci Mane) • "We Gon Ride"

Dreezy has been having a hell of a 2016 so far, recently releasing her major label debut which has definitely exceed expectations. I've had the pleasure of working with her a  couple times though out the growth of her career and I've been telling people for a while now keep an eye on her. If you haven't peeped her album yet, it's filled with dope records and perfect features that compliment rather than make the song. One of them is with a trap legend, Gucci Mane, and a couple days ago she released a pretty dope visual for it. This song is dope and you can't deny the fact she's keeping up with a vet as if she's been doing it for the same amount of years. Gucci hasn't ever picked wrong when it came to aligning  himself with the next hot thing, and I think Dreezy might be it. If you haven't yet check out her album 'No Hard Feelings' available on Apple Music and iTunes.

Ibn Inglor • "Not My King"

If there is anyone else out there preaching positive messages through wax, just add Ibn Inglor to the list.  Ibn’s new track “Not My King” serves as a message to the youth that one does not have to give into the lustful desires of the world and can without a doubt fight off the demons that lurk at almost every corner. Stay tuned to Ibn as he is another one of Chicagos up and comers with a massive amount of truth and positiveness to bring to the scene.

King Louie • "Reefa Dem"

King Louie recently linked up with Cole Bennett for a second time to shoot a video for "Reefa Dem". You might normally expect to see Tony over east, or in and around the city, but not this time. Looks like he headed out to the country giving some local fans a chance to kick it with him and be a part of his latest release. More from Louie soon I'm sure.

Louis The Child • "Live @ Lollapalooza 2016"

Louis the Child played a huge set a Lollapalooza earlier this month and we’re very lucky to have a clean recording to relive it with. The duo always brings a party by remixing major hits and playing originals with a level of stylistic diversity that keeps you interested and dancing for the whole set. And of course, I have to mention the unexpected on-stage collab with GRiZ and Dominic Lalli (Big Gigantic) that came halfway though the performance and brought huge energy to the whole show.

If you were there, congrats! If you weren’t, it’s you’re lucky day…enjoy the whole set on Soundcloud now!

Lucki • "Speed Demon"

Lucki is one of my favorites out of Chicago due to his isolated style, premieres a brand new song yet again, "speed demon", in which he continues his sluggish flow over production by friend and fellow Chicago native, Plu2o Nash and Meech. On top of the debut of his new song, Lucki announced on Twitter that Freewave 2 will be dropping August 18th, making the release his second of the year. Check the new song below, and stay tuned for Freewave 2 within the next couple of weeks.

Young Chop • "WAGTFT"

Well known and respected Chicago producer Young Cho” lets loose a new music video for “WAGTFT” (We Ain't Got Time For That), stemming from his latest album titled King Chop. "WAGTFT" is a simple reminder that Chop is not out spending his time with lames or goofballs, but instead, much more focused on his cash flow. Enjoy the video and stay tuned to more of our beloved Chicago producer/rapper, Young Chop.
