Air Credits (Ft. Sims) • "Gear Shiftn"

Directed by TJ Tambellini and Mike Ruggirello

2016 saw a reinvented ShowYouSuck and Hood Internet collide to form Air Credits, a rap and electronic hybrid that has since garnered the attention of both fan bases with the release of their debut Broadcasted last year and a series of high energy live performances backed by an impressive light show.

Neither act has disappointed over the years. The Hood Internet used their production abilities to reimagine some of our favorite songs as well as create some strong original music, and ShowYouSuck rode a wave of pizza fueled mayhem for the better part of the last decade. Air Credits is and isn't each parties' respective pasts, and the Broadcasted single "Gear Shiftn" is a great example of that. Assisted by Sims of Minnesota based Doom Tree, the song's visuals were captured on a dune buggy somewhere in the post apocalyptic desert, likely while on tour with Air Credits this past winter.

The energy and production are reflective of the Chicago duo's live performance and in fact they showcase a small portion of their light show at the end of this video. If you'd like to catch a full set and you're in Chicago, you're in luck! See Air Credits open up for Dan Deacon this Sunday February 19th at the Empty Bottle as part of Red Bull's Sound Select. This one of the best performances you'll see this year, so don't pass it up.
