Catching up with Xavier Holliday, Thesedays find him working on what may be his last album. In a series of statements Friday morning, the westside local expressed gratitude to his loved ones, as well as addressing some issues. Frustrated from a recent contractual miscommunication that resulted in a cancelled SXSW appearance, Xavier cleared the air of any looming doubt on his position in the music world. He talked about the fame, the media, and recognition, declaring plans for traveling the world, “I’ve always rather done things how I feel is right. I don’t care about fame. I know it already, I’ve seen and touched it. Even before Iman (Shumpert) dunked on ya’ll who hated.”

Linking with SaveMoney’s Dally Auston, plus collaborative production from CEO Beatz as well as another Savemoney affiliate, Eric Butler, Holliday provides fresh innovations in "All The Aboves" and further demonstrates strength as a songwriter. Dropping "Castles" with producer Bird Language in the same day, X takes range to new levels yet again since releasing Thrill six months ago. Compiling a condensed collection of hits, including the dual singles from his forthcoming album, Xavier Holliday’s Why Not Top 3 around? So Many Flavors reminds us why he’s one of the best to do it. See for yourself.
