In a series of statements Friday morning, the westside local expressed gratitude to his loved ones, as well as addressing some issues. Frustrated from a recent contractual miscommunication that resulted in a cancelled SXSW appearance, Xavier cleared the air of any looming doubt on his position in the music world. He talked about the fame, the media, and recognition, declaring plans for traveling the world, “I’ve always rather done things how I feel is right. I don’t care about fame. I know it already, I’ve seen and touched it. Even before Iman (Shumpert) dunked on ya’ll who hated.”
