Divine Council’s ICYTWAT droped his debut album MILK over the weekend. Upon releasing the album, he expressed warm sentiments to his fans via Twitter, “very f****** grateful i finally get to share this with you guys. luv all of you. Enjoy.” Producing the entirety of the album with help from Kalil Blu, ICYTWAT assembles, KYEOSHIN, INDIGOCHILDRICK, AND $ILKMONEY for a wild ride through blunt smoke and pastel synths. ICYTWAT, a Chicago native, prides himself as a “reclusive n**** who love shorties,” remarks coinciding with the album.

After an instrumental introduction, ICY and $ILKMONEY kick it off with, “I’m [DON JUAN] got these b****** dying over a cross.” The project totes the familiar audio pastel attributes ICY delivers in all of his production. He’s set on reviving that early 2000’s vibe with these beats. Much of the project is a glowing sampler of party tracks featuring his classic lyrics of debauchery. Without missing a step it flows like a true mixtape accounting for no lapse in sound, courtesy of engineer Rainy Miller. If you were looking for a summer album to get “schwifty” with, you’ve found your match. Blast this one with the windows down.
