There’s a new project from Tia London, entirely produced by husband and career long collaborator Traxster. Her self-titled project [Tia London] boasts big sounds, with even bigger sentiments. Capitalizing on the momentum from last year, which saw a full length project, not to mention twenty plus singles. Now arriving with another full album and a handful of tracks, 2017 is in full stride for Tia London. You may already be aware of this rapping singer - largely known for her collaborations, she appeared on Twista’s  “Dark Horse” album in 2014.  After signing to L.A. based Traxster Inc., she’s gone on to release four projects. Both are currently releasing under their label, Nothing But Dope. The dynamic duo, now independent as well as parents, push to take 2017 by storm. 

The new album doesn’t miss a step, each track capturing the audience in the cohesive storytelling. At times it was blissful. Unconditional love has a way of spilling to the canvas in the hands of an artist. Tia spared no effort in this matter; “The Way That You Love Me” came directly from her soul. There’s no secrecy of semblance with lovers as musicians. We’ve seen it before: Beyonce’s “Lemonade”, or Kanye’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”. Tia may not touch on the frustrations like others before: Eminem’s “Kim”, or Lauryn Hill’s “Killing Me Softly”; she comes full circle in “Pretend”. 

Expect to see her on tour soon. The new album is airtime ready more ways than one. Seldom in visual treatments, I wouldn’t be surprised to see more music videos this year. Give Tia London a spin, her track list is gigantic. Surely a playground for Hip Hop and R&B listeners alike.
