FROM THE CD EXCLUSIVE GLITTER 98

Victor! releases another track from his cd-exclusive Glitter 98 onto streaming platforms. On the new song “Honest”, Victor! teams up with Family Reunion for an emotional, electrifying experience, warming us up first with peaceful guitar strings. When the beat drops, Family Reunion blissful voice dances on the mic while she crafts a witty hook saying, “You had me spend a couple hundred before you told me that you didn’t want nothing, babe”. Her ability to tie her cold-hearted lyricism and self-worth are evident in her wordplay, “It’s your loss, I’m not gonna stress about it”. The effortless transition welcomes Victor!’s peaceful, soothing voice. The repetition of a hard, loud snare drum beat evokes his powerful presence on the mic saying, “I want to spend it all, I’m gonna spend it all,” afterwards scratching noises and sticky piano keys forward the melodic tempo. Rounding out the track, Victor! speaks in Spanish with a heavy, profuse buzzing background sound and a fluent decrescendo of a lasting sync node. After this new Family Reunion collaboration, one can only hope to see more singles from Glitter 98 in the near future.
