Cam O'bi • "Echo Park"
Having come a long way from a Las Vegas department store and sleeping under studio consoles, Cam O’bi creatively hustled his way through the Chicago music scene. Producing for several Chicago natives such as Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper, Mick Jenkins and Noname, Cam has respectively earned his stripes as a prolific producer. Much more than a beat-maker hustling behind the scene, the Las Vegas native has exposed the hip-hop and R&B community to his spoken word(s) and syllables with his self produced single “Tenderheaded” ft. Smino and Noname’s “Diddy Bop” ft. Raury from her debut LP Telefone.
Since emcees don’t always use the beats that he create(s), this time around Cam has decided to spin the block and provide us with his latest production “Echo Park”. Equipped with his signature “oohs”, Carter Lang on the bass and Joey Lopez on the guitar, “Echo Park” is a feel good energy that the kiddos and OGs can chill to.
