2018 was a breakout year for Tatiana Hazel. Alongside her dynamic debut EP, Toxic, the Mexican-American artist was part of some of the best shows in the city --including a headlining set at The Hideout, Red Bull’s Xicago event, and even designing one of Jamila Wood’s outfits for the legendary Heavn Here performance.

“Again and Again” is tentatively her last single of 2018 and a fitting end piece to a strong 12 months. This cut is a whirlwind of emotions with rollercoaster turns: from the wistful opening to the reluctant acceptance that Tatiana and her partner might be better off as friends, to the realization that her infatuation is too intense to overpower. It’s a gravitating record that shines through Tatiana’s wholly heartfelt lyrics and production that dips into pop and house.

Beats 1’s Matt Wilkinson has already added “Again and Again” to his show’s rotation and --with new music and videos on the way--we can expect bigger looks for Tatiana in 2019. Until then make sure to revisit Toxic and enjoy her latest above.
