DJ/ Producer Owen Bones and Hip Hop artist Sir Michael Rocks--- collectively known as Mystery School take a different route with their self titled debut EP. Drawing inspiration from various music genres such as pop, rock and alternative, Mystery School delivers seven flavors of liberating musical content that inspires their listeners to confidently be themselves and fearlessly step outside the box. Setting the tone for the project, “Holographic” serves an introduction to Mystery School’s musical and artistic revolution… fusing both genres of Hip Hop and electronic.

Creatively and figuratively putting their art on the line, Mystery School positively challenges the current trend(s) of music. As Sir Michael Rocks harmonizes on “Air Ride”,“never lost nothing that I really need to get back, is everybody happy, everybody loving on the things they attracting, trynna get better at the things you was lacking,” he explores the depth of his inner essence and connects to the airtight production of Owen Bones… replicating that energy on “Meteor” and “Island”. Conveying cultural disruption, both Owen and Sir Michael pushes the envelope past the traditional “bar for bar” hip hop regime, with “Sus”, “Decursed” and “Hellcat”. As Sir Michael Rocks belts out on ”Hellcat”, “Look up, look up, better be on watch, in a glass house with glass ceilings, we throwing rocks, we been through the malestom, hail storm, airborne, cop lights flash with cameras on the dash”  he philosophically narrates the reality of survival in today’s society… rebelling against the dormant mentality that seemingly exists musically, creatively and socially. Allow the idiosyncratic sound of creative emancipation to sync into the mental, while bumping the “Mystery School” EP this weekend.
