Angry Blackmen Are Back With HEADSHOTS!

Angry Blackmen are back on the map in a big way. It's clear in their new presentation that the duo's confidence level is rising, and rightfully so. They've got a trajectory akin to a rocket, and whether or not our government got to the moon, this duo could do it. Liftoff was a few years back, and Lyrical Lemonade lit the ignition. Boosters fired them into a deal with DeathBomb Arc, a respectable and longstanding independent label. Today, we are all the blessed recipients of their latest and greatest effort. Happy HEADSHOTS! day!

HEADSHOTS! by ANGRY BLACKMEN, released 02 October 2020 1. DREAM! 2. PROPAGANDA! 3. DANCE! 4. RAGE! 5. HEADSHOTS! 6. ATOMIC! 7. CALIGULA! 8. PROTOCOL! The name Angry Blackmen is deceptively simple. Not merely a statement of being, these words lay on the table, bare bones, exactly what white America says Blacks should not be; the fake sin that racists constantly accuse Blacks of committing.

Brian has no pod bay doors, dropping truth from up on high with graceful and unornamented vigor. Hearing his voice again after so long gave me good vibes and a wry grin as he slathered the track with style, somehow both new and very classically him.

Quentin has not lost touch with his own signature either. Exhibit A is his ever-present calling card: a reference to something nerdy in nature. Q has had quite the ascension. From his rhymes, which are tighter than ever before, to delivering the verbiage with his foot to the floor. For comparison, look at "RIOT!", ABM's breakout track. In Quentin's recordings, there can be heard traces of shyness or insecurity, maybe even reluctance. Today, on HEADSHOTS!, Quentin is audibly stronger on every measurable level, uplifting ABM's potential as a duo through his own progression.

You must mind your B & Q, as they both have truly come with heat for this release. Our artists each honed their essence, unlocking stronger delivery and unleashing new creative flows. Listen to and download HEADSHOTS! via DeathBomb Arc's Bandcamp page.
