Chicago Adds A New Festival To Its Lineup • Sacred Rose Fest 2022
For its inaugural debut, SACRED ROSE is bringing Americana, Psych-rock, Jam, Indie, Soul, Funk, and Bluegrass performances to Chicagoland’s SeatGeek Stadium Campus with performances from Phil Lesh & Friends, The War On Drugs, Yves Tumor, Liz Cooper, Danielle Ponder, and more next weekend.
Decades of involvement in booking and hosting events across Chicago and founding festivals such as North Coast, Hulaween, and Summer Camp, have led SACRED ROSE organizers to design a weekend catered to music-lovers. Comprised of three stages (The Canopy, The Vega, and The Dreamfield), the immersive festival encourages attendees to craft an experience exclusive to their musical desires.
“As avid music fans ourselves, we curated three different stages with specific genres each day that feel like standalone shows,” festival founder Michael Berg says. “SACRED ROSE is a choose-your-own-musical-adventure of sorts; you have the option of exploring our full spectrum of bands or just vibing to your favorite acts.”
Gone is the model of hour-long sets; instead, attendees will be met with extended performances from their favorite acts ranging from 75 minutes to three hours to provide listeners with deep catalog cuts and spontaneous, unduplicated performances.
