It's that time of the year again when the food is good and the deals are better and in the midst of everything going on in the world we live in today, what better way to kick off the holiday season than by shopping locally with some homegrown talent from around the city. From Fat Tiger to LDRS and back again, Chicago's streetwear brands and boutiques are gearing up for the holiday season in a big way and have plenty of fits to keep you warm and fashionable as the temperatures continue to plummet into the winter days.

Currently gearing up for a move out of their longtime home in the city’s west loop LDRS will be cutting everything in-store 30% on both LDRS and non-LDRS apparel until Thanksgiving with 50% off on Black Friday. Fresh off the release of their ASICS collaboration, Wicker Park staple St. Alfred will be introducing two more highly touted sneakers into their store come Friday. Both sure to contribute to the inevitable line down the block, those willing to wait it out will have their shot at owning Jordan Aqua 8s (below right) and/or the coveted "Black Markets" collaboration between Pusha T and adidas (below left). On top of that, we're told you can expect some discounts on additional items in the store.

Celebrate the grand opening of Sir & Madame's new home in Hyde Park this Friday. The hometown boutique closed down both their location on Chicago & Augusta and web-store a few months back, and have been teasing their reopening across socials since. Knowing the quality and care they have always put into their products and store decor - we're excited to see what they have up their sleeves come Friday. From what we've gathered on Twitter & IG: VITA has a new hoodie dropping reading "We Still Love Chicago" available in two colors, Fat Tiger will be releasing what's sure to be a fan favorite with a pair of grey sweatpants with an embroidered tiger patch, there will be a new in the SQUAD series and Joe plans to troll with a few items he created to entertain himself. On top of that they'll be providing discounts of up to 50% on select items.
