Vic Mensa Signs to Scooter Braun Management

Billboard is reporting that rapper Vic Mensa has signed to Scooter Braun for management. Braun and his SB Projects currently manage Justin Bieber, Kanye West (as of March 2016), Tori Kelly, Carly Rae Jepsen, Martin Garrix, Black Eyed Peas and Usher has reportedly joined this week as well. Braun previously managed Ariana Grande but they split in February. Braun tweeted his support for the rapper during his latest project release.

Vic Mensa is currently co-managed by Chicago native Cody Kazarian, who has been working with Mensa since his previous group Kids These Days. Mensa is currently signed to Roc Nation and released a EP titled There's Alot Going On in June 2016. The project could be downloaded for free in partnership with Respect My Vote, a campaign movement motivating potential votes to pledge their vote. He has recently appeared in interviews on Hot 97, Sway In The Morning and Power 106. 

Mensa heads out on a 11-date 'Back With A Vengeance' tour starting in July (with support from Joey Purp), see the dates below. Vic Mensa will be performing in Chicago next at Lollapalooza on July 30th, 2016.
