Chance The Rapper • "Family Matters"

Directed By Austin Vesely & Jacob Linden

Just recently, Chance brought a child into the world and started his own family, but in this rendition of "Family Matters", Chance expands his love for family to The Social Experiment team and all of his supportive fans. The video, directed by Austin Vesely and Jacob Linden, is a moving follow-up to "Sunday Candy" as it acts as a montage of old family videos of the Bennetts as well as some behind-the-scenes shots from Chance's very epic performance at Chicago's Pitchfork Festival this past July.

Chance has performed the Kanye West sampled and inspired song (see "Family Business") several times during his festival circuit this summer, but today is the first time many of us are hearing a studio quality version. All this just days after Chance debuted a new song and announced a third solo mixtape was on the way at Stubb's in Austin, TX. The details surrounding the release of Chance's very highly anticipated follow up to Acid Rap are being held close to the chest for now, but he still has plenty of dates left in his currently ongoing Family Matters Tour for more surprises.

If you're reading this in Chicago and haven't received the memo, the Family Matters Tour won't be making a stop here. If you want to catch Chance alongside Towkio, D.R.A.M., and Metro Boomin, head to Chanceraps.com for all the remaining dates. This Friday's show in Milwaukee is sold out of GA tickets, but VIP packages are still available.
