DRAMA • "Walk Away"
Making their debut just last month with "Hopes Up", DRAMA makes a quick return with "Walk Away". The almost seamless collaboration between producer Na'el Shehade and vocalist Via Rosa continues in the duo's second release as DRAMA. Both having roots in the hip-hop world, Na'el and Via's shift to creating these dark house-inspired cuts wasn't exactly expected, but with two tracks under their belt, they sound like a winning combination. This is no fluke either, as DRAMA is slowly preparing an upcoming EP, and the self titled debut should be out before 2015 comes to a close. It's really special to see Via Rosa releasing so much music, from cover songs to rough demos to collaborative efforts. With genres blending together and a recent resurgence of a very vocally powerful Chicago music scene, DRAMA couldn't have shown up at a better time.
