Smino • "Ciabatta"
Smino regularly rocks Reebok Question 1's and that's just one reason why I like dude. Another reason is that he has consistently supplied my headphones with some of my favorite songs of 2015 and continued that trend today with the debut of his latest single "Ciabatta" which just went live a couple hours ago.
I ran into Smino the other day at Classick Studios where he's been locked in the production room for the last few months cooking up all sorts of heat with frequent collaborator Monte Booker who he teams up once again with here. "Ciabatta" isn't necessarily anything terribly new from the St. Louis transplant but continues to build on a truly talented library to date that has folks around the city and beyond keeping his name on their lips. Talking to him on Sunday it sounds like we'll be finding ourselves with more new music than his recent three song EP, S!CK S!CK S!CK that hit the public last month. I can't wait, can you?
