It's January and that means that the second act of Eryn Allen Kane's vaunted Aviary debut is just around the corner. Kane reminded us of that today with the release of her latest single, "How Many Times" that acts as the first peek into her second helping of music that is set to drop around her performance at City Winery in Chicago on February 19.

Once again, Eryn sings the goddamn socks off everyone who chooses to pay attention. One of our longtime favorite acts, she has absolutely stepped out in the right way over the last year and appears ready to really stand on her own two in the new year. Proving an ability to create timeless, reactive music without gimmicks, sound overlays or fancy production work, here we find Eryn flexing on her innate talent throughout with a gentle backing that sets the path for her to walk. Like the track? Catch her live tomorrow morning on Windy City Live.
