The last time we heard a beat from Mulatto (formerly of Hurt Everybody) was back in July. It was a solo song by Qari (also formerly of Hurt Everybody) known as "Point of View". While three months isn't particularly a substantial amount of time for most artists, it's ages for both Mulatto and Qari. With hundreds of songs available to the public, both solo and collaborative, the two decided to hone in on their sound in preparation for something truly meditated and conceptualized. For Qari, that means an upcoming EP or album, and for Mulatto, that also means an upcoming album. To hold over fans who are anticipating the album, he decided to release the loose single "Countin'" featuring both Qari and WARHOL.SS. The three minute song (which won't be on the album) loops a harp and features plenty of bass for your Sunday smoke session. Qari and WARHOL.SS both do their thing lyrically, contrasting each other and further adding to the haze of the track. Shout-out to Wisam with the artwork.

I don’t stop for octagons, the cops, cause now it’s casualty
