Ric Wilson (Ft. Femdot & David Ellis) • "Make A Living"

It's been a while since we've heard from our friend Ric Wilson, but he's certainly made the best of his 2016. Finding his lane and breaking out locally with the release of his Soul Bounce EP this past August, Ric has spent his time since improving on his already energetic live performance by working with a live band. Onward and upward as they say, Ric is back in the studio and he's decided to release his first solo single since the summer time EP.

Colliding with frequent collaborator and long time friend David Ellis, as well as fellow up and comer Femdot, Ric Wilson gives us "Make a Living". The song Ric says is inspired by every 'Step-Up' movie is produced by Kdagreat and features a very prominent sample from 20th Century Steel Band's 1975 classic "Heaven & Hell is On Earth". No, Jennifer Lopez was NOT the originator of those opening vocals. The track isn't currently slated for any upcoming project, nor has there been any talk of a Soul Bounce follow up just yet, Ric is just getting back into his groove and has been gracious enough to bring his listeners along for the ride. Now get to work, Ric and company can't make this living on their own.
