Lil Bibby • "Ridah"
It's no secret now that Lil Bibby is a serious force on Chicago's hip-hop scene. While he may not have had the kind of breakout hits to garner serious national attention just yet, the 2014 XXL Freshman has offered up a series of talented offerings that have positioned him and close friend Lil Herb as the next up to tell the world about the happenings in and around Chicago's less savory imagery. Adding to that sentiment, Bibby dropped off a new visual by Azae Production for his single "Ridah".
Channeling Tupac with the chorus on this track that pulls from Pac's "Ambitionz as a Ridah" single which he twists and turns into his own rallying cry via the streets of his hometown here in Chicago. New York had the 80s, the west coast gangsterisms populated the 90s and now it continues to be apparent that all eyes are on the neighborhoods of Chicago where daily life isn't all that far from warfare. Here, Bibby offers up his plans for how to make it out and continue on the progress.
