John Walt is a name that has popped up around the area with increasing frequency over the last year or so. After first emerging on the scene as an off-shoot of the early success of PIVOT, the west side representative has carved out a sound unto himself and this time around arrives with a new single, "Price On" produced by fellow hometown outfit OnGaud that comes tightly-wound and as an indication of what we can expect on his impeding Dinner With John project.

Walt has been a regular on both the site here and the assortment of radio shows and podcasts that litter our frontpage on any given day. Whether it's to segue interviews, turn up the party or kick back for a smoke, Walt seems to create music for every mood and here impresses as he seems to truly find his voice.  Here, things seem to be more carefully aligned, the process somehow becoming more fluid and readily conducive to consistent heat. "Price On" closely follows Walt's recent single opposite fellow TheseDays-favorite Trapo and is certainly getting us excited for his upcoming meal invitation.
