Monster Mike • Welcome to HDUB

Monster Mike comes and goes like a welcomed breeze on a hot summer day. An artist with unpredictable, yet consistent output. Someone who lives, eats, and breathes music when his circumstances allow it. Coming up alongside a young Lucki Eck$ and the Stain Gang several years back, Mike like many of the crew's members drifted off in his own direction. Since, Mike has been experimenting with different sounds, collaborating with anyone that shares his passion, and of course embracing inspiration in whatever form it presents itself. 

Following his last release "YU Pt3", Monster Mike reached out to let us know that more music was on the way. A couple weeks of teasing later, Mike delivers Welcome to HDUB, a full length release that he's been working on for several years. You'll see a couple familiar songs featured including the ever popular "Easy" with Owen Bones, the aforementioned "YU Pt3" and a pair of bonus tracks that have been spun once or twice before, but for the most part, this project is full of brand new raps. Production vibes provided by Linus, Clams Casino, Na'el Shehade and others set up the alley oop as Mike adds a couple more points to his stat sheet. Monster Mike may not be the most known Chicago emcee, but he's one hell of a sixth man. Listen to Welcome to HDUB above.
