So much going on with this record, where do I start?! First, hell yeah, we got a new song from Smino and its flames per usual. Next, Jean Deaux is on the track and sounds amazing. These two have really embraced the vibe they've got going on in their personal lives and have been really candid about in their music. Having collaborated on several songs already, it feels like this is going to be an ongoing thing and we welcome that.
You may have noticed that Monte Booker's name seems to be mysteriously absent from the song's credits. Smino has rapped on other people's beats as a featured artist, but if I'm not mistaken this is the first Smino record without his brother Monte involved. Tagging in Sango to handle production on this one was by no means a bad idea though, as the Washington based producer brings some island feels to the midwest. Another solid effort from team Zero Fatigue, now listen for yourself and get loose with Smino's "Lemon Pon Goose"
