Louis The Child (Ft. Icona Pop) • "Weekend"

Few artists locally have come on as strongly this year as the young dance duo of Louis The Child who returned this week with another dope piece in "Weekend" which plays like a heavy-handed pop track unafraid to dive into electronic aesthetics at a moment's notice. TheseDays' November cover story has been killing it as of late and offers up what should prove to be the perfect single for that pre-turn up on a Friday and arrives here just in time for yours. 

Teaming up with Icona Pop here, the guys continue to prove that they have a special touch to add to any piece, immediately throwing their arm around it and making it their own. The remix of "Blasé" is still one of my favorites from the last year. They're certainly on their way up and the slew of summer festival dates they have under their belts are a further testament to that.
