What a time to be apart of Chicago's hip hop scene right now, as new songs and projects are consistently dropping. One week after Joey Purp and Vic delivered astonishing performances at Chicago's largest music festival, Lollapalooza, the duo start the week off by debuting yet a new song together, the "773 Freestyle". Production on the record is provided by Vic and Joey's good friend Papi Beatz, who also happened to be the producer behind Vic's last project There's Alot Going On.
Before today, we heard this song twice, but had no idea when it would actually drop. We first heard this on Sway In The Morning's show and last weekend Vic brought out Joey at Lollapalooza to perform it as well. "773 Freestyle" could be one of the best releases to come out this summer, as Joey and Vic spit vicious verses back and forth over a soulful production, throwing in a hook by Vic.
