BRENTRAMBO • Subtweets in Musical Form

Chicago producer BRENTRAMBO aka BRENTMFRAMBO aka Abdul has a rather strong portfolio of production assistance. From working with WARHOL.SS, Lil Yachty, Uglyfriend, Monster Mike, and more, he's made a name for himself in the buzzing Chicago scene. We covered the video for "Speed Racer" back in June, which BRENTRAMBO produced, and he's been going full force all summer long. That being said, his only solo releases are in the form of a five song EP from earlier this year (Back When Interviews Were Fun to Watch) and a three song EP of Chief Keef flips. Now, as summer has come to a close, BRENTRAMBO is back to change that statement, releasing the twelve song project known as SIMF (Subtweets in Musical Form). Here, he enlists numerous collaborators for guest verses, all the while keeping about 2/3 of the project instrumental. Tracks like "SIMP" and "IonLikeConversations" are relaxed yet full of hi-hats clambering about. Atmospheric and stacked with bass, SIMF is one to blast on your way to work, begging for a solo freestyle session in your whip. Spin this one back throughout the remainder of September and watch the leaves fall all around.
