Sylvie Grace • "Lately"

Guitar by Jeremy Aregood Bass by Boyang Mixed/Mastered by Ryan Gorgol

Yesterday, vocalist/cellist Sylvie Grace released her first solo piece in over a year. In the between time, she's been busy being featured on songs by A Billion Young, The SEVENth, Jay Prince, and theMIND. Also, she's been out in these streets (literally) playing her cello to soundtrack the commute of Chicago's infinite streetwalkers. Her newest single, "Lately", comes complete with production by Prov, guitar work by Jeremy Aregood, bass by Boyang Matsapola. With Sylvie's strong vocal and cello work meshed together with live instrumentation and crisp production, the end result is a four minute groover, full of sweeping, orchestrated production wonderfully contrasting the visibly heartbroken lyrics. It's the perfect piece to play as rain and leaves fall all over Chicago today.

Can’t find a middle ground with you
Can’t seem to be sound with you
So hard to be around you
Can’t say I’m okay
— Sylvie Grace
