ChiBrations • Micki Miller

UPDATE: Closing out December and the year, Micki Miller returns to Soapbox Studios to perform one of her favorite original songs, "You", which was originally featured on her 2013 debut, the Love Letters EP. "You", one of ten love letters on the aptly titled EP, was also featured on a live album Micki just released a couple weeks ago. When you're done watching and listening to this live rendition of "You", make sure to head over to Micki's Bandcamp and check out Micki Miller Live.

New month, new music. ChiBrations is back with another new name and voice to get more familiar with. South Bend's Tarrah Mychelle "Micki" Miller may be new to us, but has recently garnered the attention of a number of media outlets and tastemakers from the local WGN, to Solange's Saint Heron brand.

Known for her production and songwriting chops, Micki puts her own music aside for the moment and makes her ChiBrations debut by putting her own spin on the Smokey Robinson classic, "Cruisin", most notably covered by D'Angelo in the 90's. Joined by Aaron Frazier (Background Vocals), Lenisa Raymore (Background Vocals), Redginald Norris (Drums), Derrick Hines (Bass) and Turrell O’Neal (Keys), Micki and the team give both superstars a run for their money.

Enjoy the cover and be sure to check back in a couple weeks for an exclusive performance of some original music. On the heals of her impressive release "Imagine" earlier this year, we're certainly in store for more memorable serenades from Micki.
