Chicago Duo The Hood Internet Mix Viral YouTube 2015 Recap Video

Chicago DJ/production duo The Hood Internet, known for the thoughtful mash-ups and mixes, were appropriately selected by YouTube to remix some of 2015's chart-topping hits for a recap video highlighting YouTube stars and viral videos that made a splash in 2015. The video titled "YouTube Rewind: Now Watch Me 2015" itself has amassed over 27 Million Views in the 24 hours following it's release on December 9th. Shot in 15 countries, the video features over 150 YouTube creators. The video also serves as an informal celebration of YouTube's 10-Year Anniversary, and features over 35 "memes" from over the years embedded throughout the montage. The 2014 video recap video is closing in on 100 Million views.

On their Facebook page, The Hood Internet credited additional mixing by Greg "GBall" Magers at The Attic Recording (Chicago) and mastering by Collin Jordan at The Boiler Room LLC - Music Mastering (Chicago).
