Knox Fortune, Noname, Whethan among Chicago Acts Billed at Coachella 2018
Knox Fortune, Noname, Whethan, Louis The Child and DJ The Black Madonna are among Chicago Acts Billed at Coachella 2018. The festival held in Indio, California will be held across two weekends April 13-15th and April 20-22nd. Knox Fortune will be performing in support of his critically acclaimed debut album Paradise. Noname will be performing in support of her 2016 release Telefone. Noname had an extensive year of worldwide touring and capped of 2017 with a 3-night sold out run at Lincoln Hall in Chicago. Also having a big year of touring, 18-year old DJ Whethan returns to Coachella for his second appearance in support of his recently released popular singles "Aftertaste" featuring Opia, "Good Nights" featuring Mascolo and "Sleep Eyes" featuring Elohim (also on the bill this year).
Louis The Child continues to rise the ranks as a necessary music festival staple, taking a Coachella for their second time, following up their debut in 2016. LTC released their Love Is Alive EP in 2017 ("Go" featured in recent Apple iPad Pro commercial) alongside singles "Right To It" featuring Ashe and "Last To Leave" featuring Caroline Ailin. The Black Madonna, former talent buyer and resident DJ at Smart Bar turned current London resident, will be making a return to Coachella as well. In the November 2017, she told the New York Times she was working on her debut album with guest features including Chicago legend Mr. Principle.
